A Magical Return to Ripon Cathedral✨

On a cold and very snowy day, over 60 incredible ladies, from across our Love Pop Choir groups, braved the elements to perform in the beautiful surroundings of Ripon Cathedral. Though Storm Bert reduced our original line up of 100 singers, those who made it were in for a truly wonderful day. The determination of both our choir and the people of Ripon shone through as a large crowd gathered, despite the weather, to attend the Cathedral’s Christmas Fayre. Performing at this beautiful and historic venue has become a true highlight for Love Pop Choir and our 2nd visit was every bit as magical as the first.

First stop was the rehearsal room where everyone gathered to warm up our bodies and our voices. No outstanding acoustics were needed here as our talented choir filled the rehearsal room with stunning renditions of O Holy Night and Candlelight Carol ... absolutely beautiful!

Wow, how amazing does this sound!

 At last it was time to head into the Cathedral itself. The venue was packed, with every seat filled and even more standing outside to listen and soak up the festive atmosphere. The soaring acoustics and stunning surroundings created an unforgettable experience as our brilliant Choir Director, Lauren led us through a truly beautiful setlist. The stunning Candlelight Carol, hauntingly beautiful Carol of The Bells and Beyonce's hit Halo were just some of the treats delighting our packed audience.  

Of course our performance wouldn't be complete without choir favourite Hallelujah!
